The form of life of the Brothers and Sisters of the Third Order Regular of Saint Francis is this: to observe the Holy Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ by living in obedience, in poverty and in chastity.

"We are Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity, aware of our limited resources, humbly offer all and receive all from the world in the spirit of St. Francis and Magdalen Damen. We search the Gospel, seeking to find a way of healing ourselves and a deeply troubled world."

"We are Sisters of St. Francis, a community of minores, rooted in the Gospel. We are changed continually in contemplative stillness to live simply, to trust serenely and to treat all creatures with gentle courtesy."

We are over 50 Gospel women committed to the vision of Francis and Clare of Assisi, and walking in the footsteps of our foundress, Magdalen Damen. We are called by the Spirit to cross frontiers of culture, language, and belief to spread the Good News of God's love for all people. In this our life becomes an offering, a living Eucharist, offered to and with Christ. We, as Sisters of St. Francis, continue to take part in the Incarnation of the Gospel.

As Sisters of St. Francis, we strive to help all people find resources that will allow them to live life more fully. Wherever a need is found, we strive to fill the void. People of all faiths and cultures are welcome to our programs.
